Oklahoma Breast Care Center Opens Dedicated Breast Care Center

In South Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma Breast Care Center has opened their second location in South Oklahoma City, this will be the first dedicated breast care center in South Oklahoma City .

Conveniently located on S.W. 119th between May and Pennsylvania in the Waterview Office Park , the Oklahoma Breast Care Center will offer screening mammography and DEXA bone densitometry screening. R2 ImageChecker Computer Aided-Detection will also be available. The ImageChecker from R2 Technology is the first U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) approved Computer Aided Detection system for use in breast cancer screening. Studies show use of the ImageChecker could result in earlier detection of up to 23.4 percent of the cancers currently detected with screening mammography in women who have had a prior screening mammogram nine-24 months earlier.

Proudly serving Oklahoma for nearly 20 years, the Oklahoma Breast Care Center is a leader in the early detection of breast disease. Founder and Medical Director, Larry K. Additional services provided by the Oklahoma Breast Care Center are diagnostic mammography, non-surgical breast biopsy, ultrasound, and dedicated breast MRI. The Oklahoma Breast Care Center also has Oklahoma 's only state-wide mobile mammography program.
