The Oklahoma Breast Care Care Center is pleased to offer our patients access to our Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Program. Designed to help women determine their individual risk of developing breast cancer, this program is administerd by Becky Lowery, Clinical Nurse Specialist.
The program includes: 1) consultation utilizing several risk models and genetic testing 2) BRCA1/ BRCA2 and OncoVue.
The consultation includes a review of all the woman's current risk factors and strategies are discussed that could be helpful in changing some of the identified risk factors.
It is important to make informed decisions and a Breast Cancer Risk Assessment can help ensure optimal breast health.
